The Murder Of Bessie Little
Episode 348 takes place in Dayton, Ohio, just up the Great Miami River from my hometown. I’m trying to come up with a name for this particular narrative trope, the murder of a woman by the man whose child she is carrying, consequently, the murder of an unborn child as well. There is some question in this case whether Bessie Little was actually pregnant, but the point is, somebody thought she was.
